Less is more

I have been an advocate of small bags for the longest time ever. There have been times where looking for a wallet in a well stuffed small sling bag can be an embarrassment. 

Case in point, I bumped into my ex-boss recently when I was at a mall. We exchanged jovial greetings and I offered to pass him my new name card. 

But as destiny would have it, my petite bag somehow swallowed my name card holder and it took me a good few seconds to rummage through my bag to look for it. 

To add salt to the wound, my phone was also ringing and he (Mr Ex Boss) clearly looked unimpressed. 

Small bags like these little babies from Louis Vuitton reminds us to only carry the essentials, and leave junk at home. 

That is why I always believe in the mantra of "less is more" and carry a small bag. 

If it takes you minutes to look for something in your bag, it's probably gone missing. 

Life's complicated enough. Your bag shouldn't be to.
